On June 8, we had lunch with our members at SUBSTANCE, a restaurant on the 15th floor of Courtyard by Marriott Fukui.
Two new members joined us this year, and we were glad to have a friendly lunch meeting with all the members.
<Lunch Mene>
- Appetizer:Potage of Tomitsu-Kintoki (Sweet potatoes representing Fukui Prefecture).
- Main dish:Fukui pork shank stewed in red wine with Katsuyama Mizuna mashed potatoes and ground mustard.
- Dessert:Tiramisu.
The volume of the dish was generous and filled my stomach sufficiently.
It was a very luxurious atmosphere where we enjoyed the view of Fukui City and tasted local food.
