Every June, we hold a meal training session to deepen the friendship between members.
This year, we chose the teppanyaki restaurant “Kunpu” in Hinode, Fukui City. We enjoyed the deluxe teppanyaki course.
You can enjoy a wide variety of teppanyaki dishes, including monjayaki and okonomiyaki.
It’s nice to be able to eat around the teppan table without feeling formal.

We all ordered drinks and started with a toast. I had draft beer, which was delicious.
Piled-up okonomiyaki ↓ I realized after eating the Wagyu steak that I hadn’t taken a photo of it.

When discussing how to deal with customers during meals, the general consensus was that breaks are common. Of course, the situation varies depending on the details of the job and the customer.
Some customers eat a large breakfast and skip lunch, so in those cases, there is no time to take a break. The discussion was lively.

I am grateful that we are able to enjoy delicious meals together because we are healthy.
We express our gratitude to the people who prepared the food and gave us life by saying, “Gochisousama deshita” (Thank you for the meal).
I think this Japanese culture is really wonderful.
