November 6, 2022, Fukui Prefecture Ichijodani Asakura Family Site Museum and other sites in this Area<\/strong>
\nI participated in a tourist guide training course conducted by Miki Tourist with some of our members.
\nThis was a field training course on the theme of guiding at the \u201cFukui Prefecture Ichijodani Asakura Family Site Museum<\/strong>\u201d, which had just opened on October 1, as well as other sites in this area.
\nDeparting from Fukui Station by bus, we visited the Asakura Family Site Museum, then went on a tour of the Asakura residence and gardens by rented bicycle, and returned to Fukui Station via JR Ichijodani Station and the Etsumihokusen Line.
\nIt was very informative, as everyone was able to share their opinions and impressions on the museum’s guiding points and what could be explained to make the story more interesting.
\nI think that the Asakura Clan’s history and the Ichijodani Asakura Clan Ruins are much easier to understand now that we can use this museum, which features a huge diorama of the Ichijodani castle town and a full-scale reproduction of the Asakura Residence.
