On November 17th 2019, we visited the Fukui City History Museum. This museum is close from JR Fukui Station, and tourists can learn about the history of Fukui City.
In Edo period, Fukui was ruled by Matsudaira Family. The museum has many valuable exhibits of the Matsudaira clan.
Also we can trace the history of restoration and reconstruction from Fukui air raids (1945) and earthquakes (1948).
After visiting the history museum, we went to the Yokokan garden.
The autumn leaves were beautiful on that day, and the garden was crowded with many tourists. Probably people from other Asian countries also visited there.
It was a beautiful autumn day, and we were proud to have such a beautiful garden, located near the Fukui Station.
The well-maintained garden is worth seeing for overseas visitors.
